abstract: Interest rates are one of the macroeconomic factors that determine investors' decisions to invest. This is marked by fluctuations in interest rates, which serve as a reference for investors in making investment decisions. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of macroeconomic variables, namely interest rates and exchange rates, on the sectoral index of sharia equity in Indonesia. This study uses time series data in monthly form from 2021 to 2023. The analytical technique used in this research is the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. The results of this study indicate that interest rates have a positive effect, while the exchange rate variable has a negative impact on the sectoral index of sharia equity.
