A failure to carry out developmental tasks will have negative consequences in social life, which can form negative conformity. Negative conformity can encourage adolescents to behave outside social norms and potentially commit acts of violation of the law, and make their adolescents in conflict with the law. This can be prevented if adolescents have succeeded in forming a positive self-concept. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between conformity and self-concept in adolescents in conflict with the law. is a quantitative correlational study, with research subjects of adolescents in conflict with the law aged 13-19 years and in the LPKA. The sampling technique used Total Sampling. The data collection tools used in this study were the conformity scale and the self-concept scale. The data analysis method used the Pearson Correlation product-moment with correlation calculations using SPSS 25.0. The results of the analysis show that the significance value is 0.003 <0.05, with a Pearson Correlation of -0.499, and an adjusted R Square value of 0.225. This means that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a negative relationship between conformity and self-concept in children in conflict with the law. It is also known that 77.5% of conformity is influenced by variables other than self-concept. The results of the study concluded that the higher the self-concept of Adolescents in Conflict with the Law, the lower the level of conformity and vice versa. A good self-concept will build self-awareness in children so that it can prevent negative conformity that leads to violations of the law. date: 2024-07-17 date_type: published pages: 137 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS ILMU SOSIAL DAN HUMANIORA thesis_type: skripsi thesis_name: other citation: Hendi Tri Harbriyanto, NIM.: 19107010059 (2024) HUBUNGAN ANTARA KONSEP DIRI DENGAN KONFORMITAS PADA REMAJA YANG BERKONFLIK DENGAN HUKUM.
