The theory used in this research is the concept of political strategy by Peter Schroder and resource mobilization theory. This research method is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and literature document study.  The results of this research are that PDI Perjuangan cadres in Magelang City use political strategies for the people of Magelang City, namely offensive political strategies, defensive political strategies with the basic foundation of the Stelsel Commander System, and utilizing party resource mobilization for the purpose of winning the 2024 elections.
