"This research is motivated by the researcher's interest for the following\r\nreasons: first, previously the madrasah diniyyah at the Al-Imdad II Islamic boarding\r\nschool was implemented with a pesantren curriculum, but in its implementation it\r\ndid not run well, due to the lack of human resources that were not balanced with the\r\nlarge number of students. Second, the Al-Imdad II Islamic boarding school\r\norganizes learning of classical books or yellow books, its dynamics in\r\nimplementing yellow book learning, and its compromises with several pesantren\r\npolicies and regulations for the sake of maximizing the curriculum made by the\r\nmadrasah diniyyah. This study is a scientific effort to describe the madrasah diniyah\r\ncurriculum in learning yellow books at the Al-Imdad II Bantul Islamic Boarding\r\nSchool. This study aims to determine whether the learning of yellow books at the\r\nAl-Imdad II Bantul Islamic Boarding School has run optimally as expected.\r\nThe method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative study. The selection\r\nof this method will make it easier to understand the data presentation that has been\r\nexplained because it is arranged accurately and systematically. The data collection\r\nfor this study uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. After that,\r\nthe data that has been collected is analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data\r\npresentation and the last is verification or drawing conclusions.\r\nThe results or findings in this study are: 1) Curriculum planning is designed\r\ntogether at the beginning of the school year, involving the director of education at\r\nthe Al-Imdad Islamic Boarding School, the head of the madrasah, and the deputy\r\nhead of the curriculum section. The curriculum used is a self-made curriculum\r\n(local) and also refers to the curriculum of the Ministry of Religion. 2) The\r\norganization or division of the curriculum is implemented according to the planning\r\nthat has been made, with grouping adjusted to the abilities of the students. For new\r\nstudents, an academic test is made first, then the class division is adjusted according\r\nto the test results obtained. 3) The implementation of the curriculum is carried out\r\nby all academicians of the Islamic boarding school, starting from teachers to\r\nstudents. The implementation of learning is made a system for one semester, at the\r\nend of the semester there is a class promotion. The system created is not the same\r\nas the class promotion for one year in general. The learning hours of the Islamic\r\nboarding school are 3 hours a day. In one semester there are an average of 20 to 40\r\nmeetings, adjusting to the needs of each class. 4) Evaluation or monitoring of the\r\ncurriculum is carried out at the end of the semester and or carried out at least once\r\na month to find out how far the development of learning has been carried out, both\r\nin relation to students, teachers and or the material taught."^^ .
