Therefore, this type of intelligence is part of an essential component in supporting and accelerating children's achievements including in or outside of school. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence (X) and learning achievement (Y) in early childhood at the Mangga Tiga Foundation Kindergarten. This type of research uses a correlational descriptive quantitative method. This research was conducted in July-September at Mangga Tiga Foundation Kindergarten, Paccerakkang, Biringkanaya, Makassar, South Sulawesi. The data collection techniques used were observation sheets and tests. Data analysis techniques with descriptive analysis and correlation analysis and data quality tests. The results of this study confirm that the development of emotional intelligence is a key factor in early childhood learning achievement. With the ability to manage emotions, children are more focused, able to complete tasks more effectively, and can adapt well in the school environment. The practical implication of this research is the need to develop learning programs that support emotional intelligence, including activities that train empathy, social skills and the ability to manage emotions. This is expected to not only improve learning achievement but also prepare children emotionally to face future challenges. Overall, this study emphasizes the importance of emotional intelligence in achieving optimal learning achievement in early childhood.
