Khamim Zarkasih Putro, M.Si. abstract: One of the learning resources for students is textbooks or student handbooks. Textbooks present learning interactions that seek a directed educational goal. Through the indikators contained in the textbook, it is important to study. The purpose of this study was to determine the relevance of 21st century skills indikators contained in the fifth grade Pancasila Education textbook based on the National Education Association (NEA) theory. By presenting 4 indicators of 21st century skills by NEA in Pancasila Education textbooks, it has implications for strengthening students' understanding of the material. From the objectives of this study, it can be identified specifically that this study is; 1) exploring the Pancasila education textbook for grade V SD / MI; 2) analyzing in depth the learning material in the Pancasila education textbook for grade V SD / MI. Based on the object of study, namely 21st century skills contained in the Pancasila education textbook for grade V SD / MI, this study is a qualitative library study (library research) with a positivism approach. This study by analyzing the text as a data source conducted research on aspects of 21st century skills to be reflected through the process of identification, data collection, reduction, classification, analysis, to find and conclude. The results of this study indicate that in each chapter of the Pancasila education book there is material content that is relevant to the indicators of 21st century skills, namely critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration.
