%X Human resource management strategies have significantly impacted the  improvement of teacher quality at Public Elementary School Pujokusuman 1  Yogyakarta. This research aims to: 1) Describe the human resource management  strategies used to improve teacher quality at Public Elementary School  Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta, 2) Analyze the contribution of human resource  management strategies in enhancing teacher quality at Public Elementary School  Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta, and 3) Identify the main challenges faced in  implementing human resource management strategies to improve teacher quality  at Public Elementary School Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta. The research employed  a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques  included interviews, observations, and documentation. The qualitative data  analysis involved data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.  The results of the study indicate that the strategies used in human resource  management include synergy and empowerment strategies, implemented through  1) training and development, 2) effective collaboration and coordination, and by  setting examples. Human resource management at Public Elementary School  Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta is carried out according to the general functions of  HRM, starting with planning, which includes HR needs analysis, recruitment and  selection, training and development, organization, and performance evaluation.  On the other hand, the contribution of HRM strategies at Public  Elementary School Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta is identified in two main points:  the improvement of teacher competencies through HR training and development,  and the creation of effective collaboration between the principal and teachers, as  well as among teachers. The main challenges in applying HRM strategies at  Public Elementary School Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta include time constraints  due to the numerous job responsibilities and administrative tasks that need to be  completed by both the principal and teachers. Another challenge is  communication through digital media.
