This research aims to: 1) Describe the human resource management\r\nstrategies used to improve teacher quality at Public Elementary School\r\nPujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta, 2) Analyze the contribution of human resource\r\nmanagement strategies in enhancing teacher quality at Public Elementary School\r\nPujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta, and 3) Identify the main challenges faced in\r\nimplementing human resource management strategies to improve teacher quality\r\nat Public Elementary School Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta. The research employed\r\na qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques\r\nincluded interviews, observations, and documentation. The qualitative data\r\nanalysis involved data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.\r\nThe results of the study indicate that the strategies used in human resource\r\nmanagement include synergy and empowerment strategies, implemented through\r\n1) training and development, 2) effective collaboration and coordination, and by\r\nsetting examples. Human resource management at Public Elementary School\r\nPujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta is carried out according to the general functions of\r\nHRM, starting with planning, which includes HR needs analysis, recruitment and\r\nselection, training and development, organization, and performance evaluation.\r\nOn the other hand, the contribution of HRM strategies at Public\r\nElementary School Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta is identified in two main points:\r\nthe improvement of teacher competencies through HR training and development,\r\nand the creation of effective collaboration between the principal and teachers, as\r\nwell as among teachers. The main challenges in applying HRM strategies at\r\nPublic Elementary School Pujokusuman 1 Yogyakarta include time constraints\r\ndue to the numerous job responsibilities and administrative tasks that need to be\r\ncompleted by both the principal and teachers.
