%T DINAMIKA SELF PROTECTION REMAJA DALAM PENDIDIKAN SEKS BERBASIS INTEGRASI ISLAM DAN SAINS PADA SISWA SMA TRENSAINS MUHAMMADIYAH KAB. SRAGEN
%X This research discusses a case study of the dynamics of adolescent self-protection
in sex education based on the integration of Islam and science for students at
Trensains Muhammadiyah High School, Kab. Sragen. The aim of this research is
to determine the dynamics of self-protection in students who have received sex
education based on the integration of Islam and science. Data and sources in this
research were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The
argument of this research is that sex education based on the integration of Islam
and science is quite effective in providing sexual understanding both in theory,
namely in classroom learning and daily practice in boarding school habituation as
strengthening self-protection by adapting to the needs and character of adolescents.
Using an educational psychology approach, this research is focused on answering
the main problem formulation, namely to examine in depth the ins and outs of
adolescent self-protection after receiving sex education from both parents and
school, especially the self-protection felt by adolescents after receiving sex
education based on the integration of Islam and science. Based on the findings and
research results, it can be concluded that participants already have knowledge
about basic self-protection from parents and previous school education (elementary
or junior high school). Participants who already have knowledge about self
protection can know indications of negative sexual behaviors, sexual behavior that
leads to violence, crime and deviance both from themselves and others. Although,
they already have previous knowledge of sex education, participants feel that they
still need to get sex education which will make a complete understanding of sex. If
we look based on the results of research in the field, the ability of self-protection
that is owned by participants is based on a religious foundation that regulates what
is halal and haram. Then the religious foundation in the form of faith can be better
understood when they study at Trensains Muhammadiyah Kab. Sragen High
School, which teaches the concept of sex education based on the Qur'an and reveals
the facts of the reasons for the commandment, so that it has an impact on
adolescents to better understand positive sexual concept. Sex education based on
the integration of Islam and science is not taken from one point of view based on
arguments but rather look at the facts, and problems that exist in society. Therefore,
adolescents will be able to improve their self-protection abilities in the context of
sex. The ability of self-protection is already owned by students can help them to
prevent abnormal sexual behavior and avoid threats or problems that occur in the
real world.
