"The DANA application is a contemporary application that provides ease of use so that the\r\ndevelopment of this application is able to become the top rating in supporting today's banking world.\r\nThe practice in implementing the DANA application in question uses the term top-up where\r\napplication users will fill in money on the application as a form of storage so that the application will\r\nstore all funds along with the transaction history made in the DANA application. The DANA\r\napplication is used by them from various levels of society in carrying out their business activities,\r\nboth in the form of business and other equivalent transactions such as in mulah or buying and selling,\r\nthe DANA application facilitates prepaid credit payments, electricity bills, PDAM and the like, all of\r\nwhich are processed with the term top-up for its users. The DANA application used often uses the\r\nWakālah contract where the Wakālah contract itself is an act of granting power of attorney to the\r\nrecipient of the power of attorney to carry out a transaction.\r\nThe type of research conducted by the author is library research, with a descriptive-analytical\r\nmethod and a normative legal approach. The data collection technique used is a qualitative analytical\r\ntechnique by collecting data then describing, classifying and analyzing issues related to the problems\r\nto be studied in depth and comprehensively.\r\nBased on the analysis conducted through three main theories in Islamic law: the theory of\r\nbuying and selling, the theory of al wadi'ah, and the theory of al Wakālah. Theory of Buying and\r\nSelling: The DANA application fulfills the principles of buying and selling transactions in Islam. The\r\nbalance obtained through top-ups in the DANA application is in accordance with the amount of\r\nmoney exchanged and used for transactions at merchants collaborating with DANA. So this shows\r\nthat the use of digital money in DANA is permissible according to sharia because it is in accordance\r\nwith the principles of justice and mutual consent. Al Wadi'ah Theory: Balance top-up transactions in\r\nDANA use the wadi'ah contract, which is a money deposit. In this case, DANA users (muwaddi')\r\nentrust money to the application organizer (mustauda'), who then stores and maintains the funds\r\naccording to the provisions. The study found that the use of digital wallets in the DANA application\r\nis in accordance with the principles of the wadi'ah contract as long as there is no fraud. Al Wakalah\r\nTheory: Top up DANA balance through outlets such as Alfamart involves a waka„lah contract, where\r\nthe user (muwakil) gives power to the cashier (wakil) to make a top up. Research confirms that this\r\npractice is in accordance with the pillars and conditions of the Wakālah contract, ensuring the validity\r\nof the top up transaction.
