In the last three years, namely 2021-2023, law enforcement for the crime of revenge porn in the jurisdiction of the Yogyakarta Special Regional Police has not been running optimally, because revenge porn cases are still widespread and many are still unsolved. Therefore, this thesis research aims to determine the law enforcement of revenge porn crimes in the jurisdiction of the Yogyakarta Special Regional Police and the obstacles and efforts made by the police in enforcing the law of revenge porn crimes in the jurisdiction of the Yogyakarta Special Regional Police. This research uses qualitative research methods and the type of research used in preparing this thesis is field research which is descriptive analysis with an empirical juridical research approach. This research uses law enforcement theory and crime prevention theory. The results of this research conclude that the law enforcement process for revenge porn criminal acts via social media carried out by the Yogyakarta Special Regional Police is in accordance with the investigation and investigation procedures regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code but is not yet optimal. The obstacles faced by the Yogyakarta Special Regional Police in enforcing the revenge porn criminal law in the jurisdiction of the Yogyakarta Special Regional Police consist of penal policy constraints and non-penal policy constraints. Efforts made by the Yogyakarta Special Region Police regarding the obstacles faced by law enforcement officers regarding law enforcement regarding alleged criminal acts of revenge porn, namely penal policy efforts, including reminding fellow law enforcement officers of the existence of the ITE Law, reprimanding police officers who judge the victim, looking for clues when the perpetrator is anonymous or has lost track of him, and calling the victim to continue the process of resolving the case.
