"Parking Services are services for providing or organizing off-street parking\r\nand/or services for parking vehicles to be placed in the parking area. On 14-27\r\nAugust 2023, the Yogyakarta Special Region Police arrested 29 suspects in 23 cases\r\nof two-wheeled motor vehicle theft (curanmor) and secured 21 vehicles, the\r\nlocations of the thefts still vary greatly and are located in a number of places.\r\nHowever, what was most striking was the music concerts that were held in\r\nYogyakarta some time ago. This causes anxiety among parking users and questions\r\nabout the responsibility of parking managers regarding lost or damaged parking\r\nusers' vehicles. Research was conducted in the music concert parking area at the\r\nMandala Krida Stadium, Yogyakarta, to find out how parking managers are\r\nresponsible for the loss or damage to vehicles of study parking consumers according\r\nto the Civil Code and Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection.\r\nThe type of research used in this research is field research, namely direct\r\nresearch at the location of the music concert parking lot in Yogyakarta. The data\r\nsources for this research are interviews with parking managers and the Yogyakarta\r\nCity Consumer Dispute Resolution Agency Council. This research is descriptive\r\nanalysis with an empirical juridical approach. The theories used in this research are\r\nlegal protection theory, legal certainty theory, and legal responsibility theory.\r\nThe results of this research are: First, the juridical review regarding the\r\nresponsibilities of parking managers at music concerts at the Mandala Krida\r\nStadium, Yogyakarta City is not in accordance with Article 1694 of the Civil Code,\r\nparking is a goods custody agreement so that parking managers should maintain\r\nand be fully responsible for managed goods. If a vehicle is lost or damaged, the\r\nparking manager must fully replace the lost or damaged item. In practice, the\r\nconcert parking manager is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles but only\r\nintends to compensate for the loss with an amount that is not the same as the loss\r\nincurred. Second, the form of consumer protection for consumers parking for music\r\nconcerts at the Mandala Krida Stadium in Yogyakarta has been stated in Article 19\r\nof Law Number 8 of 1999 and the Yogyakarta City Government also provides\r\nprotection regarding compensation as stated in Article 40 of Yogyakarta Mayor\r\nRegulation Number 149 of 2020 concerning Instructions for Implementing\r\nYogyakarta City Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2019 concerning Parking."^^ .
