description: General elections in Indonesia take place once every 5 years. In the election, it is hoped that the Indonesian people can use their voting rights well, especially people with disabilities. In this case, people with disabilities are the main topic of research. The number of people with disabilities in the city of Yogyakarta who have exercised their right to vote is 1,530 people, with the participation rate in the 2024 election reaching 53%. In Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities, it is explained what the rights of persons with disabilities are and that no one may take away the rights of persons with disabilities. The formulation of the problem raised in this research is, what is the juridical review of fulfilling the political participation rights of persons with disabilities in the 2024 elections in the city of Yogyakarta? What is the human rights perspective in fulfilling the political participation rights of persons with disabilities?  This research is field research which is descriptive qualitative in nature with an empirical juridical approach using a basic basis in the form of applicable laws and regulations that are applied in people's lives. The data collection technique is carried out by observation, direct interviews and documentation.  The results of this research conclude that the Yogyakarta City KPU as the organizer of general elections in the Yogyakarta City area has made efforts to fulfill the rights of political participation for people with disabilities in the City of Yogyakarta. The efforts made are in accordance with Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities. However, in implementing the fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities in the City of Yogyakarta, obstacles are still encountered, including a lack of self-confidence among disabled voters, to the fact that disabled voters are not properly recorded as permanent voters, so that there are still many people with disabilities who cannot exercise their voting rights in elections. From the results of this research, the author suggests that the election organizers, namely the Yogyakarta City KPU, provide outreach and simulations regarding equal political rights for people with disabilities and services for people with disabilities in general elections in order to increase their sense of confidence that people with disabilities also have the right to use their voting rights. Regarding the fulfillment of the political rights of persons with disabilities in general elections, it is in accordance with the principles of Human Rights which uphold and respect equality, justice and freedom.
