"The rise of online shopping systems is enough to prove that technology has a positive impact on the economy and business. However, technology also often has a negative impact with consumer security risks. Regarding consumer privacy in online transactions, users are required to disclose personal information. This is prone to leakage of sensitive information, triggering data breaches and identity theft. leaking personal data has become a hot issue in recent months, especially with the rampant cases of data leakage causing an impact on consumers. This is done by irresponsible people. The purpose of this research is to find out the form of legal protection and Lazada's responsibility in protecting personal data according to Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning personal data protection and Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning consumer protection and see from the perspective of sharia economic law.\r\nThis type of research is a library reserch, with a normative juridical approach method and a statutory approach (statue approach) by conducting a study of laws and regulations, books, journals, websites related to this research. with the nature of analytical descriptive research.\r\nThe results of this study indicate that Lazada in its policies and privacy has not fully implemented the rules or norms contained in Law No. 27 of 2022. Meanwhile, in the Consumer Protection Law No. 8 of 1999, it is said that it is still weak in regulating the security of consumer personal data because in general, Law No. 8 of 1999 only regulates the rules in conventional buying and selling, covering principles, principles, and forms of rights and obligations between consumers and business actors.
