%X The Tawkil wali tradition is a tradition that still exists in the Pelambik Village community today, where in practice there is a marriage guardian who gives his rights as a marriage guardian to another person to marry off his daughter. This research seeks to answer the main questions: why does the Pelambik Village community, kec. Praya Barat Daya Kab. Central Lombok apply tawkil wali in the marriage contract in the marriage procession, what are the reasons for the implementation of tawkil wali in the marriage of the Pelambik Village community, how is the practice of tawkil wali in the perspective of social action? The method used in this research is the collection of field and library data taken from books, scientific journals, classical books, theses, dissertations and others.  Field methods are obtained by conducting observations and interviews with sources relevant to the major themes of this research, including Pelambik Village officials such as the Head of the Hamlet, traditional leaders, religious leaders, and couples who perform tawkil wali along with the parents who represent. The data that researchers get is then processed using a sociological approach based on social facts contained in the tawkil wali tradition.  The existence of the tawkil wali tradition by the Pelambik Village community is due to several reasons such as lack of religious knowledge, long distance, the quality of the guardian's diversity, and maintaining customs. This tradition is reviewed in the concept of maslahah has fulfilled the aspects that are emphasized in maintaining benefits such as protecting religion, soul, mind, property and offspring, besides that the tradition of tawkil wali is also included in the maslahah which is hajiyah (secondary). While the tradition of tawkil wali from a sociological perspective is included in value oriented rationality, instrumental rationality, and traditional action and affective rationality.
