        abstract = {The euphoria of football supporters supporting their idol team gives rise to the problem of aggressive behaviours. Fanaticism and emotional regulation are thought to be predictors of aggressiveness. This research aims to determine the relationship between emotional regulation and fanaticism with aggressiveness in football fans. The method used in this research is quantitative correlational. The respondents who participated in this research were 332 football supporters in Java Island which was taken using a nonprobability sampling technique in the form of accidental sampling. Data analysis was carried out using the multiple linear regression method. The results showed that emotional regulation and fanaticism were related to the aggressiveness of football fans with a simultaneous effective contribution of 28.7\%. Partially, emotional regulation was proven to be related to aggressiveness, but fanaticism was not proven to be related to aggressiveness. The partial contribution of emotional regulation to aggressiveness was 28.3\%. These results provide a theoretical implication that in looking at football fans' aggressiveness, it is important to examine the role of emotional regulation.}
