Gerbosari Village, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo has environmental conditions supporting pteridophyta species? distribution. This research aims to study the diversity and structure of pteridophyte communities in Gerbosari Village, as well as to learn about their morphological and anatomical characteristics. This research was conducted for 3 months using the intercept transect method combined with 30 plots. Data were collected based on differences in land use, including settlement stations, rice field stations, and agroforestry stations. Morphological and anatomical research of pteridophyta was conducted in the integrated laboratory of UIN Sunan Kalijaga using the acetolysis method. The results obtained 23 species from 10 families. The terrestrial pteridophyta Adiantum philippense obtained the highest FR, KR, and INP values at all three stations (settlement station: FR 22\%, KR 76\%, INP 98\%; Rice field station: FR 17\%, KR 40\%, INP 57\%; and agroforestry station: FR 18\%, KR 41\%, INP 59\%). The highest epiphytic pteridophytes community structure at the residential station was Pyrrosia longifolia with FR 50\%, KR 75\%, INP 125\%, and Davallia denticulata with FR 43\%, KR 50\%, INP 100\% at the agroforestriystation. The diversity index of terrestrial pteridophytes at settlement stations is low, at rice field and agroforestry stations it is medium. The diversity index of epiphytic pteridophytes in residential and agroforestry stations is low. Morphological characters commonly found are monomorphism and hair at the base of the stipe, anatomical characters of spores commonly found are elliptic spores. Based on the results of the diversity index, it can be concluded that the difference in diversity index values at the three stations is only a little, indicating the low complexity of pteridophyte diversity.} }
