BNCT is performed by injecting Boron compounds into the body and then irradiated with neutrons from a cyclotron. The implementation of BNCT for pancreatic cancer is still in the pre-clinical trial stage. The purpose of this study is to simulate BNCT-based pancreatic cancer therapy and analyze the effect of Boron concentration on the total dose rate, irradiation time, and dose received by the Organ At Risk. The simulation in this study used the Particle and Heavy Ion Transport Code System (PHITS) program version 3.30. Boron concentration variations used were 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, and 150 μg/g cancer tissue with anterior posterior (AP) irradiation direction. The results showed that the variation of Boron concentration affected the total dose rate and irradiation time. The optimal Boron concentration for pancreatic cancer treatment is 150 μg/g, with a dose rate value of 2.15E-02 Gy/s and an irradiation time of 38 minutes 46 seconds. The OAR in this study, namely liver, stomach, ribs, spleen and skin, received doses of 0.44 Gy, 0.85 Gy, 0.98 Gy, 1.68 Gy and 2.81 Gy. The dose received by the Organ At Risk (OAR) is still below the safe dose limit according to BAPETEN No. 6. Year 2010. %Z Pembimbing: Dr. Nita Handayani, S.Si., M.Si dan Fajar Arianto, S.Si., M.Si.
