However, in its implementation, there is often a mismatch in the provision of wages to workers. On the other hand, the fulfillment of urgent living needs sometimes overrides the understanding of workers/workers about fair and decent wages. Thus, exploitation of workers/laborers often occurs by companies. The purpose of this study is to find out: 1). How is the system for determining and paying wages for employees of Bento Café Sorowajan Branch? 2). What is the system for determining and paying wages for employees of Bento Café Sorowajan Branch from the perspective of Islamic Business Ethics? This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, this type of research is categorized as field research, data collection through interviews, observation and documentation, the source of data for this research is area managers and employees, qualitative data analysis consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The results of this study conclude that: 1) The system of determining employee wages is carried out before employees start working. There are three types of wages, namely basic wages, overtime wages, and additional wages (meals, holiday allowances, health insurance). 2) The employee wage payment system is carried out by being paid on the fourth day of every month, and has been in accordance with the agreement at the beginning of employment; 3) The system of determining and paying employee wages at Bento Café Sorowajan Branch is in accordance with Islamic business ethics, namely wages have been mentioned before work starts and are paid on time.
