The need for land has always increased over the years in line with the increase in population and development activities which have increased every year in various sectors, one of which is for the development of industrial areas in Srimulyo Village. The Srimulyo District Government, as the land asset holder, leased the village treasury land to PT Yogyakarta Isti Parama as the Industrial Area developer. Then a rental agreement arises which is entered into by both parties. However, as this agreement progressed, there were problems from 2018 until now regarding the area of village land being rented, land use, and rental costs which are still being disputed. Therefore, the author is interested in conducting research on the rental agreement from the beginning when the dispute arose and whether efforts were made to resolve the dispute and what the results were. The type of research used by the author is empirical juridical research. This research was carried out using field research and library research. In the data collection method, the author used the interview method and reviewed documents and literature related to rental agreements. The research results show that: first, PT YIP as the land lessee Party I did not carry out the agreement in accordance with statutory provisions. Party II did not carry out the agreement agreed upon in the rental agreement.
