Although it has been arranged in such a way, the reality is that there are still many phenomena and cases of parental neglect. Cases of parental neglect are also still found in social care institutions. Researchers are interested in conducting research at the Tresna Werdha Abiyoso Social Service Center as the first social institution under the auspices of the Yogyakarta Special Region Social Service. Based on this, the researcher sparked two formulations of the problem, namely: First, what are the forms of implementation of children's obligations to their parents at the Tresna Werdha Abiyoso Social Service Center, second whether children continue to carry out alimentation obligations to their parents at the Tresna Werdha Abiyoso Social Service Center as stipulated in positive law, namely in the Civil Code and Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. To answer the formulation of the problem, this study uses Soerjono Soekanto's Legal Awareness theory as an analysis knife. Laws and regulations, interviews with children from the elderly, the elderly, and social care workers as primary material, secondary data such as books, theses, articles from scientific journals and other sources related to this research, empirical juridical as the research approach. Thus, this research is categorized as field research. The results of this study concluded that the form of implementation of children's alimentation obligations to their parents at the Tresna Werdha Abiyoso Social Service Center, including First, there are elderly who have never been met with their children's livelihoods, Second, there are elderly who have been given a living but are rarely visited or paid attention to by children. Finally, some eldery people are given regular income and attention by the child, such as visiting eldery people, giving some money, clothing, food, making phone calls, and washing clothes. Then, some informants behaved according to the provisions of the child's alimentation towards his parents by Article 321 of the Civil Code and Article 46 of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage.} }
