This research is qualitative research with a case study method. The approaches used in this research are historical, educational, philosophical, and sociological. Research data was obtained through observation, documentation, and interview techniques. The data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, testing the validity of the data in this research uses credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests. The results of this research study show that Arabic language learning at MA Ponpes Al Iman Muntilan and MA Pondok Pesantren Pabelan has undergone a transformation from traditional Arabic language learning to modern Arabic language learning. Before the transformation, Arabic language learning at the two madrasas was specifically ideologically oriented with learning material regarding Islamic knowledge through traditional methods and traditional evaluation systems. After the transformation, Arabic language learning in the two madrasas is ideologically and academically oriented, with learning materials surrounding Islamic knowledge and Arabic linguistics. The learning method used is a modern learning method supported by learning media in the form of interactive multimedia and an authentic learning evaluation system. The factors that caused the transformation of Arabic language learning in the two madrasas include the religious factors of the surrounding community, changes in the institution's education system, changes in the national curriculum, and the economic condition of the institution. The acceptability of the transformation of Arabic language learning at MA Al Ponpes Al Iman Muntilan and MA Pondok Pesantren Pabelan is a form of realization of the goal attainment function and integration function in the AGIL scheme. The goal attainment function is realized through educational evaluation activities during the last year, SWOT analysis, current situation analysis, and goal setting. Meanwhile, the integration function is realized through madrasa management carried out by the madrasa head and learning management carried out by teachers, which includes the processes of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The Arabic language learning construct is a depiction of the latency function of the AGIL scheme. The construction of Arabic language learning at MA Ponpes Al Iman Muntilan is composed of a structural approach with translated grammar methods, collaborative methods, eclectic methods, tadrib al lugawy techniques, text translation, question and answer, giving synonyms, discussions with peers, assignments, and inquiry techniques. The construction of Arabic language learning at MA Pabelan Islamic Boarding School is composed of a specific functional approach to aspects of communicative function with direct methods, drill methods, and eclectic methods. Meanwhile, the techniques that are developed in learning Arabic at MA Pabelan Islamic Boarding School are muhadasah techniques, feedback, demonstration, giving synonyms, discussion, assignments, repetition, question and answer, and observing.} }
