N2  - These article description life of Maduraââ?¬â?¢s society phenomenon, and its relation with carok. Carok means duel to defends oneself honor. Carok and clurit (kind of sikle, often used as weapon) is embedded. They canââ?¬â?¢t be desperated. This phenomenon since Dutch colonialization. Carok is knight symbol in fighting to keep the honor. Maduraââ?¬â?¢s society is more obidience to informal figure leader called: kyai ââ?¬Å?reference for venerated scholar, teacher of Islam or ââ?¬Å?ulamaââ?¬Â?as Islamic scholar. In fact Carok phenomenon has been seen until now. It indicates that carok is not related with product of somebody ââ?¬Ë?s authority and honor but itââ?¬â?¢s related with cultural aspect. This fact is one of black side of Madura ââ?¬Ë?s culture. Itââ?¬â?¢s so far from wiseword like this: rampa maong beringin kroong.ââ?¬Â? It means calm situation fulfil peacefull like under the banyan tree. This wise word is one of way of life Maduraââ?¬â?¢s society.
