"Marriage is an emotional bond between two individuals that involves a commitment\r\nto live together and share responsibilities in daily life. Marriage is considered ideal\r\nand satisfying when two couples can enjoy togetherness. However, many couples\r\nare now choosing to have long distance relationships due to various factors, such\r\nas work and economic conditions. For wives whose husbands have to work far\r\naway, this condition can cause feelings of loneliness and overthinking, which can\r\naffect the quality of satisfaction in the relationship. To maintain a long distance\r\nrelationship, couples need to maintain satisfaction in the relationship. One of the\r\nthings that plays a role in determining relationship satisfaction is attachment. Adult\r\nattachment style is a pattern of emotional relationships that form in childhood and\r\ninfluence interpersonal interactions in adulthood, including in marriage. This\r\nresearch aims to provide an overview of the adult attachment style of wives who\r\nare in long distance marriage. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method\r\nwith a phenomenological approach, involving three informants selected using\r\npurposive sampling technique. The criteria for informants are women aged 20-30\r\nyears who have been in a long distance marriage for a minimum of six months and\r\na maximum of five years. The data in this research were collected through interview,\r\nobservation, and documentation techniques. The data was then analyzed using\r\nreduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The\r\nresults of this study indicate that in a long distance marriage, effective\r\ncommunication and trust are the main factors in maintaining the relationship.\r\nEmotional support from couples also play an important role in maintaining\r\nharmony in relationships, especially in the context of long distance marriage."^^ .
