Research that is often carried out is regarding drug abuse by teenagers. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research related to the decision-making process of a teenager to stop using drugs. The main objective of this research is to find out the decision-making process to stop using drugs among rehabilitated teenagers in Yogyakarta. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation methods for rehabilitated teenagers who chose to stop using drugs voluntarily. The selection of informants in this study was based on someone who consumed excessive amounts of any type of drug such as cocaine (injected, smoked or inhaled), marijuana (smoked like a cigarette, put into food and brewed as tea), crystal methamphetamine and for a period of time using more than once a week, teenagers aged 18 to 20 years, decide to stop using drugs, undergo rehabilitation in Yogyakarta for more than 3 months. The results of this research found that the decision making of a drug addict who decides to stop is not only influenced by desire and encouragement from the family, but is also influenced by feelings of guilt, regret and the perception of social stigma regarding women. The process of making the decision to stop using drugs is an external process, but in it there is a strong belief and desire of the informants to commit and persist in their choice to stop using drugs, even though they experience obstacles.} }
