N2  - This research will examine the influence of the Sufi path of Shaykh Ahmad Khatib As-Sambasi on the Al-Jawahir Study House, investigating the implementation of this path and the challenges that arise within the context of the Study House. Additionally, this research will assess the extent to which the Sufi path of Shaykh Ahmad Khatib As-Sambasi can shape the moral conduct of the congregation at the Al-Jawahir Study House.
This research uses qualitative research methods with phenomenological and pedagogical approaches. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data that has been collected is then discussed, analysed, interpreted, and concluded in the form of critical analysis. The data validity test was carried out by extending the research, increasing the researcher's diligence and persistence, and triangulating techniques.
The findings of this research indicate that the Sufi path of Shaykh Ahmad Khatib As-Sambasi is based on four fundamental principles. The first of these is the perfection of suluk. Suluk is the path utilized by Sufis to achieve proximity to Allah. The attainment of suluk perfection is comprised of three dimensions: faith, Islam, and ihsan. (2) The adab of a disciple. Adab can be defined as a noble attitude that encompasses manners, courtesy, and other values that are considered to be virtuous. Adab is a requisite element in a number of areas associated with success. (3) Zikr is a means of communication that facilitates a closer relationship with Allah. Sufis who experience a profound sense of longing for Allah will engage in dhikr, which involves mentioning the names and attributes of Allah, as a means of
alleviating this longing. (4) Muroqobah is the endeavor of a servant who is a Muhsin to dedicate himself to Allah with the full awareness that all of his actions are directly observed by Allah. The implementation of the Sufi path of Shaykh Ahmad Khatib As-Sambasi at the Al-Jawahir Study House is divided into four parts: objectives, method, material, and assessment. The implementation of the Sufi path of Shaykh Ahmad Khatib As-Sambasi at the Al-Jawahir Study House is divided into two parts. The following section will address the obstacles and challenges that have been encountered. The Al-Jawahir Study House encounters obstacles due to the prevailing community perspective that considers tarekat to be a teaching that is not aligned with Islamic teachings. Furthermore, the practice of Tarekat Qodiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah dhikr, performed by the congregation of the Al-Jawahir Study House, presents an additional obstacle. The challenge that will be faced in the future is to educate the general public about Tarekat Qodiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah.
