Synthesis of K2O/zeolite and K2O/activated carbon catalysts were carried out through a KOH impregnation process. XRD test results of K2O/zeolite and K2O/activated carbon catalysts show that the K2O peak is successfully formed at corner 2{\ensuremath{\theta}}:29,6?; 32,2?; 39,7?; and 48.6?. The transesterification reaction was carried out at a temperature of 60?C for 2 hours with a mole ratio of oil and methanol of 1:6 and the addition of 3\% catalyst. Biodiesel with K2O/zeolite catalyst produced a yield of 51,66\% and biodiesel with K2O/activated carbon catalyst produced a yield of 78,53\%. The higher yield of K2O/activated carbon biodiesel is due to the fact that the K2O/activated carbon catalyst has more K2O compounds. Based on the GC-MS test results, biodiesel with K2O/zeolite and K2O/activated carbon catalyst has a methyl ester composition of 99.6\% and 100\% respectively with the dominating methyl ester component, namely methyl ester palmitate. Flash point testing of biodiesel with K2O/zeolite catalyst and K2O/activated carbon catalyst show the respective results at a temperature of 150 ?C and 145 ?C.} }
