description: Trees are one of the biotic components of vegetation in an ecosystem that has very broad benefits. Tree growth and diversity are influenced by environmental factors, especially community activities. Vegetation analysis is one form of protection in environmental management. The study was conducted in March-April 2024 in the Srigati Forest Area (Alas Ketonggo) Ngawi, East Java, which aims to determine the diversity of trees and vegetation structure of the Srigati Forest which is analyzed from the perspective of the Qur'an and Environmental Fiqh. Data collection for the study used a combination method, namely belt transects and plots using plots measuring 20 X 20 m2. The results of the vegetation analysis study obtained the diversity of tree-level vegetation in the Srigati Forest, Ngawi, East Java, consisting of 14 families with 19 tree species. Vegetation structure including density, dominance, frequency, and Importance Value Index (IVI) at the tree and sapling levels, the highest vegetation structure parameters are owned by the Tectona grandis species with an IVI value of 157.42% at station 1 tree level and 212.46% at the sapling level, followed by the Swietenia macrophylla species with an IVI value of 122.83% at station 2 tree level and 122.99% at the sapling level. The customs that are carried out are also one way to maintain the sustainability of biodiversity in the Srigati Forest, but the method used is not quite right in Islam. In the Study of the Qur'an and Fiqh, the right way to maintain the environment has been explained, one of which is the forest.
