However, technological advancements have shifted traditional parenting styles towards digital parenting, potentially causing negative impacts on children's cognitive, sociological, and psychological aspects. This study aims to examine digital parenting styles and their implications for pedagogical, sociological, and psychological aspects of early childhood in Muslim communities in Madura. This research employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to describe the meaning of Muslim parents' life experiences related to the digital parenting phenomenon. The research subjects consist of 15 Muslim parents in Madura. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. The analysis technique uses Creswell's model, involving stages of describing the phenomenon, identifying interview results, grouping into meaningful units, reflecting on thoughts, constructing explanations, and reporting research findings. Data validity is tested through trust in research subjects, data consistency, data triangulation, and providing feedback opportunities. The results reveal that parenting styles in digital parenting consist of mixed styles termed 'authoritarian-hybrid' ('autho-demo'), 'democratic-hybrid' ('demo-permi'), and 'permissive-hybrid' ('permai'). The implications of digital parenting on pedagogical aspects include improvements in children's fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, and creativity. Sociologically, there are positive impacts such as expanded knowledge and insights, as well as negative impacts like difficulties in direct socialization. Psychologically, children feel happy when using gadgets but also easily become tired, bored, and have difficulty concentrating. Parental mediation strategies in digital parenting include active mediation, restrictive mediation, and co-use. The internalization of Islamic values in digital parenting is implemented through the application of moderation principles, cultivation of noble character, integration of Qur'anic and Hadith learning, and application of the concept of enjoining good and forbidding evil in technology use. date: 2024-08-30 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/68923/1/19300012017_BAB-I_IV-atau-V_DAFTAR-PUSTAKA.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/68923/2/19300012017_BAB-II_sampai_SEBELUM-BAB-TERAKHIR.pdf identifier: Ria Astuti, NIM.: 19300012017 (2024) DIGITAL PARENTING PADA ANAK USIA DINI (STUDI FENOMENOLOGI PENGASUHAN MASYARAKAT MUSLIM DI ERA DIGITAL).
