The purpose of this research is to determine the management of analog audio and video archives at Indonesian Visual Art Archive and its obstacles. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis process is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing techniques use persistent observation, source triangulation, and member checking. From this research, it is known that Indonesian Visual Art Archive has arranged the SOP (standard operating procedures) for managing audio and video analog archives based on various archival guidelines and adopted to program needs. There are 3 stages for managing audio and video analog archives at Indonesian Visual Art Archive based on the SOP. First, documentation (record, collect, store) is carried out to collect archives through direct recording of events by IVAA archives team, collection from other parties such as artists, etc. upon special request from the archive owner or for IVAA?s program purposes, and archive storage. Second, archive preservation is carried out to avoid damage due to external and internal factors, which is done by regularly cleaning archives and the surrounding environment and limiting access to archives for external preservation, and converting archive media into digital form for internal preservation. Third, archive access procedures as the archive services can be carried out based on user needs, such as the need for archive?s content by access the digital version first via online archive website, and the need for physical archives can be accessed on condition of being registered as an IVAA archive staff for access requests. The obstacles in management archives occur in storage facilities, preservation facilities, and costs.} }
