ID - digilib69007 UR - https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/69007/ A1 - Isna Windi Astari, NIM.: 19101040061 Y1 - 2023/11/13/ N2 - The purpose of this research is to describe collection development practices at the library of 2 Tumbuh Primary School Yogyakarta and identify the representation of multiculturalism values in collection development practices at library 2 Tumbuh Primary School Yogyakarta. The reference used in this research is 6 components of collection development, namely community analysis, collection policy, selection, collection procurement, collection weeding and collection evaluation. This research used qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subject of this research is library of 2 Tumbuh Primary School Yogyakarta and the research object is representation of multiculturalism values in collection development practices. Data collection techniques in this research used non-participant observation techniques, semi-structured interviews and documentation. Determining informants used purposive sampling, with a total of 4 people consisting of the school principal, librarian, and two teaching staff. The criteria of informants are staff who have the authority to create library programs, people who participate in the development and implementation of the program, and people who are or are currently involved in programs implemented by library of Tumbuh 2 Primary School Yogyakarta. Data analysis technique include reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the research show that library of 2 Tumbuh Primary School Yogyakarta fulfills the 6 components of collection development, but in the aspect of weeding the collection it has not carried out regularly and in the aspect of evaluation it does not have specific criteria for evaluating. The representation of multiculturalism values which is reflected in the practice of collection development at the library of 2 Tumbuh Primary School Yogyakarta is proof of the school's consistency in developing values that are in line with the vision and mission promoted by the school. The representation of multiculturalism values in collection development practices in libraries reflects inclusive (open) values, values prioritizing dialogue (active), human values (humanist), tolerance values, mutual help values, democratic values (justice), and egalitarian values (equality).
