%X Evaluation of collection strength is a limitation for describing collections by sorting and determining which collections are needed by paying attention to the strengths and weaknesses of existing collections. This research aims to find out the results of the evaluation of book collections in the field of management using the Conspectus method at the UPT Central Library of Janabadra University Yogyakarta to determine the extent of the collection owned by the library itself. The type of research is descriptive quantitative. Data collection methods use observation, documentation and evaluators/appraisers using the Conspectus method worksheet. The population of management book collections owned by the central library UPT is 958 book titles and 5,113 copies. Researchers took a sample of 307 book titles adjusted to management classes at DDC, namely classes 651, 658, and 659. The results of the evaluation of the strength of the collection were at level 2a. Level 2a is to provide primary literature material to define a subject. The results of language analysis in classes 651, 658, and 659 management use Indonesian or code Y with 288 titles. The results of the analysis of chronological coverage in the field of management were vulnerable in 1981-1990, reaching 38.1%, less than half of the 307 collection samples or 117 collection titles. Meanwhile, collections in the last 10 years or 2010-2020 publications are still small or require procurement of collections tailored to management topics.
