In its analysis, this study conducted a parallel reading between literary texts and nonliterary data in accordance with the new historicism approach. The sources of data in this study are the poem Qa??dah al-Ar? by Mahm?d Darwisy, 'Arabiyyah K?nat wa Tabqâ Ar?an? by Samih al-Qasim, Hun?
