N2  - This study aims to reveal a portrait of the events of Yaum al-Ar? that occurred in Palestine on March 30, 1976 through recordings of Palestinian poems and nonliterary data related to Yaum al-Ar?. The theory used in this study is new historicism promoted by Stephen Greenblatt. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using library research methods and documentation techniques. In its analysis, this study conducted a parallel reading between literary texts and nonliterary data in accordance with the new historicism approach. The sources of data in this study are the poem Qa??dah al-Ar? by Mahm?d Darwisy, 'Arabiyyah K?nat wa Tabqâ Ar?an? by Samih al-Qasim, Hun? B?q?n by Taufiq Zayyad, Qa??dah al-Ar? by Mu'in Bseisu, Ma'a al-Ar? by Rasyid Husain. Its nonliterary data are news, posters and leaflets, and monuments. After a parallel reading between the literary text and nonliterary data, it was found that first, the Yaum al-Ar? incident was caused by the Israeli government's policy of annexing part of Palestinian land. Second, the Yaum al-Ar? event was a mass demonstration as a rejection of Israeli policies. The event was dominated by young people with passionate enthusiasm and high intensity. Third, the event occurred in March 1976. Fourth, the areas affected by Yaum al-Ar? are Galilee, Hebron, Jerusalem, Acre, Tel Aviv, Lad, Ramla, Jericho, Nablus, Nazareth, Carmel, Qastal, 'Amman, Lebanon, Rafa, and the Gaza Strip. Fifth, the victims recorded in Palestinian poems were five girls, one of whom was named Khadijah.
