%X This research starts from the assumption that Rimbo Bujang women, like other women in Indonesia, are marginalized from social and religious areas. This is due to the patriarchal culture which is the characteristic and culture of Javanese society. However, in Rimbo Bujang there are women who have authority, not only in social life but also in the religious life of the community. The majority of Javanese people in Rimbo Bujang are transmigration people, the rest are immigrants or migrated independently from Java Island to Rimbo Bujang. Their presence then gave birth to Islamic educational institutions as a place for the cultivation and development of ulama, including female ulama. This research attempts to answer questions regarding: why does the authority of female ulama emerge in Rimbo Bujang?, what is the actual authority of female ulama in Rimbo Bujang?, and why does the authority of female ulama have implications for the socio-religious life of Muslim women in Rimbo Bujang. Through this research, it is hoped that it can reveal and provide an overview of the authority of female ulama in Rimbo Bujang and their influence on Rimbo Bujang Muslim women in particular, and Muslim women outside Rimbo Bujang in general. In order to answer these problems, a feminist anthropological approach was used with the help of agency theory by Saba Mahmood, and the theory of persuasive authority by Khaled Abuo El Fadl as an analytical tool to reveal the symptoms that occurred in the period from 1982 to 2022. Findings Research reveals that the development of the economic sector in Rimbo Bujang has an impact on the progress of other sectors including education and religion. The development of the world of education has created opportunities for women to be involved and exercise authority in the socio-religious field. Religious formation for the transmigrant community presents women who have abilities in their fields as female scholars. The authority that women clerics have touches various areas of life. They are able to present themselves as "free" entities in a society with a patriarchal culture. Their presence was able to provide a new color and religious passion for Muslim women in Rimbo Bujang and its surroundings. Then many Muslim women are actively involved in socio-religious activities
