%T FRAMING PEMBERITAAN KASUS DUGAAN PELANGGARAN NORMA AGAMA DAN SOSIAL OKLIN FIA DALAM SITUS BERITA KOMPAS.COM DAN SUARA.COM
%X The rise of account users on social media is a highlight that occurs in the media today. The existence of gate keepers in playing social media is needed to create informative, educational, and inspirational content. There are many people who adjust their pros dan cons in commenting on content scattered on social media. This isevidenced by several media reporting on the issue of immoral violations or violations of religious and social norms committed by celebrity Oklin Fia framed differently. The issue of violations of religious and social norm committes by Oklin Fia was highlighted by online news sites Kompas.com and Saura.com. These teo online news sites present news about the Oklin Fia issue with different conflict frames and headlines. This research uses a qualitative approach with Robert N. Entman’s Framing Analysis model as the research method. The theoretical framework in this research is Social Construction Theory, Mass Communication, and Framing. The result showed differences in framing between the online news sites Kompas.com and Suara.com in reporting on the case of alleged violations of religious and social norms committed by Oklin Fia. Kompas.com through its news emphasizes how the process of the Oklin Fia case is going. In this case Kompas.com provides news with titles and narratives that are more comprehensive, actual and focused on the problem or issue being reported. Meanwhile, Suara.com took a different approach by providing a more in-depth description, controversial narratives and headlines, and even went so far as to discuss Oklin Fia’s personality. These two online news sites frame reality based on different social reality constructions because they are influenced by different interests, ideologies and media policies.
