Quiet quitting is a condition where workers only work casually without any extra effort. One generation that is prone to quiet quitting is Gen Z. This study aims to examine the mediating effect on the relationship between job burnout and quiet quitting on Z generation employees. The research method used is a quantitative method. The subjects of this study involved 855 Gen Z workers or employees (1997-2012) based on purposive sampling technique. The research instruments used in this study are the quiet quitting scale & job satisfaction scale that was developed by the researcher, and the Modification of the Maslach-Trisni Burnout Inventory (M-TBI) scale. The data analysis technique used is using mediation analysis with the assistance of the Jamovi v2.4.6. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a partial mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between job burnout and quiet quitting (indirect effect = 0.046, 95% CI = 0.0347 to 0.0567, p < 0.05). Furthermore, job burnout was a positive predictor of quiet quitting (β = 0.248, 95% CI = 0.228 to 0.2685, p < 0.05). Job burnout is a negative predictor of job satisfaction (β = -0.516, 95% CI = −0.585 to −0.4473, p < 0.05). Meanwhile, job satisfaction was a negative predictor of quiet quitting (β = -0.0886, 95% CI = −0.106 to −0.0708, p < 0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between job burnout and quiet quitting through the mediating effect of job satisfaction. This study shows the importance of interventions to reduce job burnout and increase job satisfaction to reduce the level of quiet quitting in Generation Z employees. %Z Pembimbing: Dr. Retno Pandan Arum Kusumowardhani, M.Si., Psikolog
