The research employs a phenomenological approach combined with a case study to explore in depth the experiences and interactions of students in an educational environment predominantly Muslim with one Christian student. This method allows the researcher to gain a deep understanding of the interaction phenomenon from the students' perspectives. The theoretical framework used is symbolic interactionism, which emphasizes the importance of symbols and meanings formed in social interactions. Additionally, interreligious communication is viewed as an essential medium for building understanding and tolerance among religions. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and an analysis of student interactions both within the school environment and via social media. The results show that the interreligious communication between Muslim students and the single Christian student at SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti is highly influenced by the social and cultural context of the predominantly Muslim school. Despite challenges, the interactions that take place contribute to strengthening religious moderation by creating a space for healthy dialogue and mutual respect. Communication through social media also plays a significant role in shaping more open and inclusive patterns of interaction among students.
