Married female lecturers often face a double burden, both at home and in professional duties. Currently, existing research tends to highlight women's views, while husbands' views on their wives' work-life balance are rarely discussed. The purpose of this study is to explore and describe the husband's views on the work-life balance of his wife who works as a lecturer, taking into account the patriarchal hegemony. The method used in this research was qualitative with a case study approach. The research informants consisted of two key informants and two significant others who were selected through the snowball sampling method. Data collection techniques were carried out through open questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and observation. The data analysis technique used is Miles \& Huberman analysis. The results showed a picture of work-life balance in each informant regarding the dimensions of life balance in his wife who works as a lecturer. In addition, the results of this study also revealed the existence of patriarchal hegemony that appears in the perspective of each informant. The new findings brought aspects of religiosity in the form of role support and informant strategies to his wife in maintaining a balance between his personal life and work.} }
