However, students' conceptual understanding is still relatively low, as seen from their difficulty in providing correct answers and summarizing the lessons. Students' conceptual understanding can be trained by applying appropriate teaching methods and models, one of which is the jigsaw model with the aid of concept maps. This study aims to 1) determine the effect of the jigsaw concept map learning model on students' conceptual understanding of physics on the topic of global warming, and 2) determine the improvement in students' conceptual understanding of physics who participate in learning using the jigsaw concept map model. This study uses a quasi-experimental type with a non-equivalent control group design. The sampling in this study was conducted using random sampling, involving students from class X C as the experimental group and class X A as the control group. Data collection instruments were conducted with pretests and posttests using questions consisting of 10 essay questions that represent 7 indicators of conceptual understanding. This research has an impact on conceptual understanding, as evidenced by the hypothesis test which yielded a significance value of 0.004 with the independent sample t-test.
