The series of image flip chart media is designed as a medium to improve the critical thinking skills of early childhood. The development of a series of image flip chart media that can be used as a tool to improve the critical thinking skills of early childhood is very much needed. This study aims to determine: 1) Development of a series of image flip chart media to improve the critical thinking skills of children aged 4-5 years. 2) The feasibility of a series of image flip chart media to improve the critical thinking skills of children aged 4-5 years. 3) The practicality of a series of image flip chart media to improve the critical thinking skills of children aged 4-5 years. 4) Effectiveness of image series flip chart media to improve critical thinking skills of children aged 4-5 years. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The subjects in this study were group A students of ABA Gendingan Sleman Yogyakarta Kindergarten. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The product validity test used a feasibility test and an effectiveness test. The feasibility test product used the P search formula (Percentage acquisition and validator), while the effectiveness test used a paired sample t test with the One Group Pretest_Posttest Design model. The results of the study showed that the image series flip chart media developed with several ADDIE stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The image series flip chart media obtained 96% results from media experts, and 94% from material experts. The practicality test for use by homeroom teacher A was 97%. The series of picture media is said to be effective as shown by the data on the t-test using SPSS type 16.0 with the Paired Sample t-test model and getting a result of 0.00 which means less than 0.05, so it is said that there is a difference when the series of picture flip chart media is implemented in learning activities.
