This research was conducted using a qualitative and quantitative approach with a Research and Development type of research. The development model used is 4D with the stages of definition, design, development, and disseminate. The instruments used in this study are validation sheets, assessment sheets, and teacher response sheets. This study uses Aiken’s V and a likert scale to evaluate the quality of the science experiment activity book. This research was conducted from September 25 to October 10, 2024, and the sample for this study consisted of 10 students from Al-Furqan Kindergarten in Sumenep, Madura, aged 5-6 years. The result of this research is a product in the form of an experimental-based science activity book to stimulate early childhood higher order thinking skills (HOTS). The quality or feasibility of the experimental-based science activity book to stimulate early childhood higher order thinking skills (HOTS) falls into the very good (SB) category based on assessments by material experts, media experts, and teachers, each receiving average scores of 3.8, 3.7, and 3.9, respectively. When accumulated, the overall average score is 3.8, and teacher responses to the experimental-based science activity book for stimulating early childhood higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in a limited practicality trial received an average score of 3.9. In the implementation stage, it can be seen that the HOTS assessment scores in the aspect of analytical ability received a score of 3.8, the aspect of evaluative ability received a score of 3.8, and the aspect of creative ability received a score of 3.8, with an overall average score of 3.8. This proves that the developed media can stimulate higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in children, especially those aged 5-6 years. date: 2024-12-09 date_type: published pages: 233 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS ILMU TARBIYAH DAN KEGURUAN thesis_type: masters thesis_name: other citation: Faiqatuz Zahrah, NIM.: 22204032009 (2024) PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BUKU AKTIVITAS SAINS BERBASIS EKSPERIMEN UNTUK MENSTIMULASI HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILL (HOTS) ANAK USIA DINI DI TK AL-FURQAN SUMENEP MADURA.
