Several scan parameters that affect the quality of CT scan images are slice thickness, current, and tube voltage. Data collection was carried out using a SIEMENS water phantom by varying the three scan parameters. This research aims to analyze the effect of variations in slice thickness, current, and tube voltage on image quality. This research was carried out for the patient's head examination protocol. The slice thickness variations applied in this study were 2, 4, 6, and 8 mm. The tube current variations used were 60, 80, and 120 mAs, and the voltage variations used were 80, 110, and 130 kV. CT Scan image quality analysis was carried out using the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and Volume Computed Tomography Dose Index (CTDIvol) methods. Increasing the slice thickness, current, and tube voltage used turns out to produce greater SNR values. In addition, the increasing tube current and voltage are directly proportional to the increase in the CTDIvol value. When the SNR and CTDIvol values obtained are greater, it will reduce artifacts and noise values in the image, so that the quality of the CT Scan image will be better and the contrast between organs will be clearly visible. The CTDIvol value obtained is in accordance with the standard limits set in BAPETEN Perka Number 1211/K/V/2021. Based on the results of image quality analysis, it can be concluded that the SNR and CTDIvol values are included in the good category and are safe to use for patient examinations. date: 2024-12-17 date_type: published pages: 128 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS SAINS DAN TEKNOLOGI thesis_type: skripsi thesis_name: other citation: Silviana Indrawati, NIM.: 20106020011 (2024) ANALISIS VARIASI SLICE THICKNESS, ARUS DAN TEGANGAN TABUNG TERHADAP KUALITAS CITRA CT SCAN MULTISLICE DI RUMAH SAKIT ISLAM YOGYAKARTA PDHI.
