However, in 2022 at LPKA Klas I Palembang a child inmate was found dead hanging himself in an isolation residential block, allegedly due to depression. Then at LPKA Klas II Bandar Lampung, it was recorded that in the last 1 (one) year from 2020 - 2022 there were 3 (three) suicides of child prisoners that occurred. Then in 2022 this LPKA was shocked by the death of a child inmate with the initials RF due to being beaten and bullied by 4 of his fellow inmates. To answer these problems, the author comprehensively maps them into the following two formulations: Why did suicide and bullying occur in LPKA Klas I Palembang and LPKA Klas II Bandar Lampung? And what efforts are given by LPKA Klas I Palembang and LPKA Klas II Bandar Lampung in preventing suicides and overcoming bullying of juvenile inmates. This research is an empirical research that is descriptive analytical with a juridical-empirical problem approach. Sources of data are obtained from interviews with coaching staff and child prisoners of LPKA Klas I Palembang and LPKA Klas II Bandar Lampung. Secondary data sources are obtained from legislation, books and journals. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interview and documentation methods. The results showed that the main factors that led to suicide and bullying among juvenile prisoners at LPKA Klas I Palembang were social isolation, lack of access to mental health services, and lack of social support from both family and the surrounding environment. Whereas in LPKA Klas II Bandar Lampung itself, there are family problems and parental rejection, lack of mental support and isolation, and ineffective supervision from officers. Meanwhile, the efforts and strategies of the coaching program in preventing suicides and overcoming the bullying of child prisoners in LPKA Klas I Palembang and LPKA Klas II Bandar Lampung are by providing integrated coaching needs to prevent suicides and bullying. The coaching efforts carried out include psychological counseling, close supervision, and positive activity programs such as sports, arts, and vocational skills. in preventing suicides and overcoming bullying of child prisoners at LPKA Klas I Palembang and LPKA Klas II Bandar Lampung facilitate social support through group interaction, skill development, and increased family visits to reduce feelings of isolation among child prisoners.} }
