"Ijarah or capital financing is the provision of short-term or medium-term\r\nfunds based on sharia principles to assist farmers' businesses in meeting capital\r\nneeds such as oil palm plantation maintenance, education costs and other needs.\r\nDebt payments are made in installments every time the oil palm harvest period\r\narrives. Oil palm farmer is a profession that gets income after the harvest period\r\narrives within a span of 2 times in 1 month. The post-harvest repayment scheme is\r\nan alternative solution. However, the number of payments made in stages by\r\nfarmers does not have an agreement between the two parties, but only the decision\r\nof the agent. The purpose of this study is to analyze the practice of ijarah financing\r\nbetween oil palm farmers and agents in Lae Saga Village, Subulussalam City.\r\nTo find out the answer above, the researcher uses an empirical normative\r\napproach with the theory of ijarah, multi-contract and ꜥurf, which theory is related\r\nto the research. This type of research isfield research, with primary data in the form\r\nof interviews and documentation conducted directly in the field and supported by\r\nsecondary data such as books, articles and other literature related to the research.\r\nThe results of this study explain first, the practice of ijarah financing\r\nbetween farmers and palm oil agents in Lae saga Village, Subulussalam City is still\r\ncarried out until now because in practice the financing system between farmers and\r\nagents is mutually beneficial. Farmers get easy access to loans for money and\r\nfertilizer, which increases their productivity and income. Meanwhile, agents get the\r\ncertainty of selling farmers' crops, reducing risks and enabling better marketing\r\nplanning. This practice creates a sustainable relationship, where both parties\r\nbenefit. Secondly, the practice of ijarah financing in Lae Saga Village,\r\nSubulussalam City combines ijarah and sale and purchase contracts. Farmers\r\napply for capital financing from an agent, who then requires the sale of the harvest\r\nto the agent who provides the capital loan. The analysis shows that this practice is\r\n'ꜥurf ṣaḥiḥ, because it has become a stable community custom and does not\r\ncontradict higher laws. The widespread acceptance by the community as well as\r\nthe positive impact on social and economic relations support the validity of this ꜥurf,\r\nprovided it adheres to the principles of Shariah.
