This requirement is in accordance with Law No. 33 of 2014, Article 4, which mandates that all products distributed in Indonesia must have halal certification. In addition to the obligation to carry out halal certification, products that have halal certification are required to display a halal label on their packaging. Specifically, the obligation for micro-enterprise products to have halal certification is regulated in Government Regulation No. 39 of 2021, Article 140, which states that the implementation deadline is until October 17, 2024. However, the implementation of this obligation has not been fully realized, considering the number of products that have halal certification compared to the total number of micro-enterprises in Sleman Regency. So, how aware and compliant are micro-enterprise actors in Sleman Regency regarding the halal mandatory? How effective is the halal mandatory for micro-enterprise products in Sleman Regency in supporting the implementation of halal product guarantees? Given the established deadline and the sanctions that will be imposed on businesses that do not comply with the regulations. This research is field research, conducted directly at the research location. The research approach uses an empirical juridical approach. The data analysis method used is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical research outcome. The data collection methods include in-depth interviews and literature studies from books, research reports, journals, and expert opinions. The results showed that the awareness of micro business actors who have not yet implemented halal certification is included in the level of law awareness due to lack of information about halal mandatory and law acquittance due to the knowledge of business actors regarding halal mandatory is not deeply understood to implement halal certification. Meanwhile, the awareness of business actors who have implemented halal certification shows a very high level of law awareness and can pass the next level of awareness in the form of law acquittance and law attitude to reach the peak level of awareness of legal behaviour, which is reflected in the way they implement halal mandatory. Meanwhile, the compliance of business actors in Sleman Regency has reached the level of internalisation, that is, they have complied with the mandatory Halal policy for micro-business products because it is in accordance with the norms they believe in. However, the implementation of the regulations has not been effective due to the limited Sehati programme and uneven socialisation, disagreement among business actors on halal certification, and the belief of business actors in the mandatory halal has not been fully complied with in accordance with the existing regulations. %K Produk Usaha Mikro, Kesadaran dan Kepatuhan Hukum, Halal Mandatory %D 2024 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib69342
