        abstract = {The book Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m min Adillat Al-A{\d h}k{\=a}m by Ibnu Hajar Al-Asqalani is a book that is often used as a source by fuqah{\=a}' in drawing up fiqhi law. Apart from that, the book Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m min Adillat Al-A{\d h}k{\=a}m is also one of the books most often studied in Indonesia, where the book is often studied in most Islamic boarding schools and in several study assemblies. One of the books that supports the book Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m min Adillat Al-A{\d h}k{\=a}m is the book Tu{\d h}fat Al-Kir{\=a}m Syar{\d h} Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m by Muhammad Luqman As-Salafi. In his muqaddimah, Muhammad Luqman As-Salafi said that the background to the existence of the book Tu{\d h}fat Al-Kir{\=a}m Syar{\d h} Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m was to perfect the previously existing books of Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m sharia. In fact, Muhammad Luqman As-Salafi explained that this book has features that previous sharah books did not have. Therefore, researchers are interested in studying the privileges and advantages that Muhammad Luqman As-Salafi mentioned in the Muqaddimah of his sharah book.
This study aims to examine the method used by Muhammad Luqman As-Salafi in commenting on the book of Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, namely the book Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m min Adillat Al-A{\d h}k{\=a}m. On the other hand, the researcher also aims to analyze the characteristics and approaches of the commentary used in the book of Tu{\d h}fat Al-Kir{\=a}m Syar{\d h} Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m to comment on the book Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m min Adillat Al-A{\d h}k{\=a}m by Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani. The research method used is a type of qualitative research, which uses library research. The data processing system in this study uses analytical-descriptive. In collecting data, the researcher used the book Tu{\d h}fat Al-Kir{\=a}m Syar{\d h} Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m as a primary source. Meanwhile, secondary sources in this study are several books, books, and articles that are correlated with this study.
The results of this research are that the hadith sharah method used by Muhammad Luqman As-Salafi in the book Tu{\d h}fath Al-Kir{\=a}m Syar{\d h} Bul{\=u}gh Al-Mar{\=a}m is the ijm{\=a}li method and the maudh{\=u}'i method, because the majority of sharah explanations are very universal and concise. On the other hand, the majority of sharah explanations are thematic. However, sometimes he also uses the syarah muq{\=a}ranah method in hadiths in which there are differences of opinion. The style of message used is syar{\d h} bi al-ma'th{\=u}r, because he only uses general and concise conclusions from previous sharah books. Meanwhile, the majority of sharia approaches consistently used by Muhammad Luqman are legal and linguistic approaches. However, Muhammad Luqman also uses other approaches in several of his hadith sharias such as historical, anthropological, aqli and naqli approaches. However, this approach was not consistently used by Muhammad Luqman As-Salafi in his hadith commentary. The special features of the book Tu{\d h}fat Al-Kir{\=a}m in general are first, a summary of the previous long commentary. Second, a combination of classical and modern methods. Third, ease of access for students of knowledge.}
