"The study is titled \"The Language Style of Najib Maḥfuẓ's Al-Karnak\r\nNovel: a stylistic analysis\". The purpose of this study is to reveal the\r\nstyle of language in al-Karnak's novel and describe the aesthetic style\r\nof language towards the meaning contained in the novel. This type of\r\nresearch is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data used is\r\nlanguage style. The primary source of data used is Najib Maḥfuẓ's\r\nnovel al-Karnak. Data collection techniques are carried out through\r\nliterature studies by reading, recording, and collecting data from\r\nwritten sources. Data analysis is carried out in four stages, namely\r\ncareful reading, data collection, data classification, and data analysis.\r\nThe results showed that the style of Najib Maḥfuẓ's novel al-Karnak\r\nexperienced various stylistic phenomena in all aspects of linguistics as\r\nfollows: First, Mustawa al-Ṣauti (Phonology) in the form of: al-Nabr\r\n(accent), al-Tangin (tone), Al-Tirar (repetition). Second, Mustawa al-\r\nṢarfy (Morphology) deduces Ṣigah al-Fi'l (Verb Form), Ṣigah al-\r\nMustaqqat (Derivation Form). Third, Mustawa al-Naḥwy (Syntax)\r\nsummed up uslub al-khabar (deviation in declarative sentences), uslub\r\namr (deviation in command sentences), uslub al-nahy (deviation in\r\nprohibition sentences), and uslub al-istifham (deviation in introgative\r\nsentences). Fourth, Mustawa al-Dalaly (Semantics) deduces al-taḍad\r\n(antonyms), and al-Musytarak al-Lafẓi (Polysemy). Fifth, Mustawa al-\r\nTaṣwiry concludes (imagery) in the form of tasybih (simile), isti'arah\r\n(metaphor), al-tanasuq fi al-Ḥiwar (harmony in dialogue), and al-Ribṭ\r\nal-Fanni bain al-Muqaddimah wa al-Khatimah (artistic relation\r\nbetween opening and closing). The influence of language style on\r\nmeaning includes: readers can find out the information conveyed by\r\nthe author. Can feel sadness, trauma, happy, happy, romantic,\r\npessimistic, and optimistic, making readers more curious, and readers\r\ncan easily understand the message conveyed by the author.
