"This research aims to reveal the various activities carried out by SATV and social changes in\r\nthe community in the region of Kasunanan Surakarta. In order to deepen and study a fairly\r\ncomprehensive discussion, this research uses historical methods; heuristic (search), criticism,\r\ninterpretation, and historiography (historical writing). This research is limited by several\r\nimportant points regarding the socio-religious conditions in the region of Kasunanan Surakarta,\r\nthe SATV socio-religious movement in the region of Kasunanan Surakarta, and the factors that\r\ninfluence SATV socio-religious movements in the region of Kasunanan Surakarta. In order to\r\nget answers to the limitations of the problem, this research is assisted by socio-religious\r\napproaches, movement concepts, socio-religion, and social movement theory. The findings of\r\nthis research are the discovery of the SATV movement which is centered on socio-religious\r\nactivities in the region of Kasunanan Surakarta, such as providing tabligh (preaching from\r\nassembly to assembly), preaching through the media, providing Islamic schools, providing\r\nlibrary parks, and providing Islamic religious courses. This research concluded with the\r\nstatement that there was a small organization born of the Muslims against the presence of the\r\nzending and missionary movements in the region of Kasunanan Surakarta that eventually a\r\ngroup of Muslims was able to stemp the opponent movement. This is supported by facts\r\nshowing an increase in Islamic activities in the region of Kasunanan Surakarta, the\r\nstrengthening of Muslim brotherhood, the increase in indigenous literacy, and efforts to nurture\r\nthe spirit of bumiputra nationalism."^^ .
