The subjects in this study consist of 392 private sector employees in Yogyakarta City. The sampling technique used in this study is accidental sampling. Data collection was conducted using two instruments, namely the self-control scale (29 items with α = 0.958) and the work-life balance scale (19 items with α = 0.946). The data analysis method used Spearman’s rho analysis to determine the existence of a correlation between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Based on the analysis results, it was found that there is a significant correlation between self-control and work-life balance (r = 0.830 with p = 0.000). The r-square value is 0.668, which means that the effective contribution of self-control to work-life balance is 66.8%. The results of the study indicate a significant positive correlation between self-control and work-life balance among private sector employees in Yogyakarta City. The higher levels of self-control are also associated with higher levels of work-life balance. %Z Miftahun Ni’mah Suseno, S.Psi.,M.Si
