Although the idea of equalizing the roles of men and women has long been narrated, the number of female leaders remains smaller when compared to male leaders. As a leader, female principals have a different leadership style than male leadership styles. Different leadership styles create different environmental nuances. A friendlier and more affectionate environment that tends to feminine female traits than male traits with their masculinity. The purpose of this study is to determine the leadership model of the principal in leading the Integrated Islamic Boarding School and Madrasah at the same time as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors for the leadership of female principals. This research is a type of qualitative case study research. The researcher uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation studies. In analyzing the data, the researcher carried out data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. In testing the validity of the data, the researcher used source triangulation and technique triangulation. Information in this study was obtained from 10 informants with details of 5 informants as students and 5 informants as teachers. The results of the study showed that there were 6 models of female leadership in leading Islamic Boarding Schools and PAUDs, namely: 1) caring about the condition of teachers, staff and students; 2) being a role model for teachers, staff and students; 3) providing teaching tips books, short prayer books, diplomas or prayer practices and motivation; 4) encouraging teachers and staff to attend webinars/seminars about parenting; 5) open to input; 6) gentle. Meanwhile, the supporting factors are, the principal or Nyai comes from a respected family, has a good educational background, and a simple personality. The inhibiting factors were not found in this study, either from interviews or observations.
